Orchard Ridge is for residents who are experiencing varying stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our compassionate staff are specifically trained in Dementia and equipped to address the needs of this special population, through the Positive Approach to Care Training with Teepah Snow. Our residents enjoy:

  • Comfortable private rooms and semi-private suites
  • Floor design intended for those with dementia to navigate easily
  • A beautiful therapy garden for walking and activities
  • Focused and engaging activity program
  • Ability to accommodate residents through end of life transition

Also available for our residents, when needed:

  • Communication Assistance
  • Behavior Management (ie. anxiety, wandering, depression, impulse control)
  • Feeding Assistance

Our community areas include objects and activities that surround dementia care residents with familiar sights, sounds, smells and memories. While during mealtime, activities, entertainment and health care are all closely supervised, residents are encouraged to live freely and fully under the 24/7 supervision of our nursing team and caregivers.
